We seek someone that can communicate effectively with potential advertisers, employers, sponsors and other entities that would benefit from reaching multinational executives and institutional investors with current or potential interests throughout The Americas and The Caribbean. This person would be able to effectively communicate our value proposition to businesses in order to win sponsorships, employment advertising, and strategic advertising deals. This role also includes the key component of identifying emergent finance & accounting (FAO) outsourcing and shared services providers with the potential for expansion within the CALA region.

Competencies

  • Experience and ability to sell to professional services organizations such as law firms, accounting firms, airlines, and hotel chains
  • Ability to present a compelling case to advertisers on why they should switch from traditional advertising channels to targeted digital media sponsorship
  • Possessing adequate business stature and gravitas to approach and negotiate with enterprise executives on a peer / collegial basis
  • Experience and ability to create compelling proposals and marketing materials
  • Impeccable ethics, honesty, high standards, and flawless professional conduct
  • Fluently bilingual: Able to communicate orally and in writing, at a professional level in both English & Spanish.
  • Demonstrates a track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and customer satisfaction benchmarks
  • Follow up with all inquiries and correspondence within 1 business day
  • Proficient with computer operating systems and programs. Competency with Linux a plus.
  • Able to properly identify, screen and qualify prospects based on company target criteria
  • Able to sell on value and outcome, rather than on price.
  • Advanced skills in new business sales combined with account management: both a “hunter and a farmer.”
  • Ability to use software to create compelling proposals and presentations
  • Tenacity and enthusiasm for making sales calls via telephone and in person.
  • Strong closing deals: Ability to obtain signed contracts and payments
  • Very well organized, with advanced time management skills: Always on time for work and appointments, always prepared for meetings and engagements.
  • Attractive, professional appearance, appropriate for engaging with high-level executives.
  • Strong understanding of internet and digital advertising, digital media, and content marketing
  • Independent, self motivated, and comfortable with the ambiguity in an fast-paced entrepreneurial / small company environment.
